• 1943 Operation Husky begins with allied invasion of scicily, 3000 landing craft are used with 200 sinking in rough seas 160,000 soldiers and 600 tanks are deployed
• 1951 Armistice talks start in Kaesong to try to end the Korean War
• 1969 First American troops arrive back in Seattle 778 soldiers walk onto parade dressed in there jungle fatigues carrying there m-16 rifles and are welcomed with a BBQ afterwards
