- 1943 operation Chastise starts with Economicly important Dams targeted by 617 squadron.
- 1966 as part of operation Wahiawa in Vietnam a search and destroy mission undertaken by 2nd battalion of 14th infantry division airlifted by helicopter north east of Cuchi.
