- 1941 Roosevelt tells Vichy France has to choose between Germany or USA.
- 1916 Russian forces occupy Rolandic and Kahniqin and send Cossacks to British forces on river Tigris.
- 1975 175 marines began operation against Koh Tang to free Mayaguez crew 8 helicopters and 15 marines were lost after fierce fighting against 200 elite communist troops .
