• 1914 Austrian-hungry declare War on Serbia starting of WW1 which will lead to many country’s joining the conflict
• 1945 2000 US carrier based planes launched a 3 day attack on the reminants of the Japanese navy fleet completely destroying them but Japan refuses to surrender
• 1953 after signing the previous days amenesty in Korean War the hostilities end and the prisoner exchanges now begin
