Preserving heritage is at the heart of this event and it’s a rare treat to be able to see such a huge number of restored vehicles and artillery from private collections across the UK.  See classic cars and armoured vehicles, or get up close and personal with a real Tank – it's all here!

Although the war ended in 1945, many of the soldiers didn't make it home until 1946 - this was especially so for those serving in the Far East and we look forward to focusing on this campaign which is often overlooked.

Reenactors will bring back memories of the wartime years - whether serving tea from the NAAFI van, wearing fashions of the time or dancing to well known tunes, there's always plenty to see around the show.  Life on the frontline is hard to imagine and historical displays will help to illustrate this.  Take time to remember the sacrifices of those generations that went before us and take part in the Service of Remembrance on Sunday morning.
